Homosexuality
I've been wanting to write about this for a long time. And there's this TV show I came across to that really pissed. Yeah, this is about sex vs religion, so I'm sure his ould get messy. I suggest if you're a religion fanatic, Please DON'T read this at all. It may get into you, well, on your nerves mostly. But anyways, please don't hate me 'coz I'm just expressing myself, and I don't hate you.
Firstly, what is homosexuality? Well, as I heard, homosexuality is kinda like an attraction of gender to its own. Or it's about doing things that your gender doesn't normally do. For me, hese definitions are far too shallow. As I see it, prejudism is what all these are about. People are too much that they judge something way far from what they know.
My first poin is that, more than our physical self is a soul. For me, that's what should matter more than our physicalities. A soul is who a person really is. our uniqueness. This body is just its vessel. I tell you, it takes more than two fuckin eyes to see who a person is from the inside. This hair, this skin, or even this gender? This is not who I am.
You might be laughing at what I am saying right now. 'Coz some things are not worth believing. Soul? What is this? and where the hell is it? But whatis worth believing anyway? People believe in what they trust, And it's easier to believe if there are many of you believing.
Do you know what i think of people against homosexuality? They're all racist! Very heartless. Is it ight to jusgde something different? Is keeping out, separating yourself from people unusual, and throwingthem out for the greater good? What is good and bad anyways? Is there such thing as "less evil?"
This body is not the body we have chosen in the first place. Is it right look down on someone's imperfection? Will I be a better person if I got a better body? Some people think they are too perfect for this world that they want to be perfect 'til they go to Heaven.
I personally believe in God. Our Father and Creator. But what I have issues about is the Bible and the ideals of the Church. Some people got the nerves that they know almost everything. Coz they know what's evil and what's not. The words from the bible are words from God, but written by human hands. Somehow, I don't think human hands are that reliable. The people who wrote the Bible.. they are chosen ones.. but why are they chosen? Is it because they have better life among anyone else? Are they more holy? But how come I heard there are a few books the Bible didn't include? They are chosen ones too, right? What I wonder most about the church is that, is it really because they fear to lose their power? I hope not, because that could be really sad.
I'm a bit off the topic. got carried away. Anyway, I would like to say that being homosexual is not about needs and craves for sexual desirs. How shallow could some people be?
I do believe in one thing, and I believe this one with all of me, God is Love. And being able to love is more than good itself. Love is everewhere and in everyone. Is it wrong to find love? Is it bad to see Love onto someone of your own gender? Is Loving against God's will?
And there goes my other point, Love. Who are you to judge the way I love? This is my Love.
True love may come to your life only once or maybe not at all. But what happen's if you find yourself amazed, confused, and very much surprised that you have found love, but you found it onto someone the world doesn't accept? Will you fight fight for it or let it just slip away? Bur really, does the world really matter in the case of love? Is everyone else and the things they say more important than how you feel? Fight!
In this lifetime, you are more important than those people, more than anyone in this world. Yeah, it may sound selfish, or even greedy, or anything you wanna call it, But you can't let any of them to stop you.
Some may say this world is not perfect. There's something ahead of us that's a lot better. A Paradise. Heaven. Everlasting Life. I have two things to say about this, I'm trying my best to make my own paradise. A paradise that's ideal only for me and my love. Making all imperfection not perfsct but see beyond it. The other thing is that, Isn't one lifetime enough for us? For me, one good lifetime is better than everlasting life. I'll rather choose everlasting Love than everlasting Life.
One final thing. To all those who doesn't like homosexuality, a homosexual's life isn't as easy as yours. You may think you know everything, but really, you don't know anything. They are tougher than all of you could ever think. A lot more. It will take you to live my life their life before you could possibly know a thing.
I wouldn't care much if you believee that your walls speaks with you every night. or every morning, Santa licks your feet, or you believe that Earth is a cube. But I respect that. And I do hope you respect my beliefs too, We're all standing in the same earth, living in same sun, sleeping in the same moon, all in the same galaxy in one universe. DOn't do to unto others what you wouldn't want to be done to you. RESPECT. BREATHE. LOVE.
I do believe in God, our pure eternal Love. And he is not in a very far away place that we have thought or imagined. Lt's look closer and see that God is with us.. within us.
Love is not a bad thing. Share it to anyone.. to everyone! ^_^!
